i'm thankful that though i go through periods where i feel like i don't have the cognitive overhead to listen to music while working, i also have ones where i do, and i'm thankful that yesterday afternoon was a day where i had it and listened to lots of great old rock music. i'm thankful for marquee moon and alien lanes and the deluxe edition of the third velvet underground album and this long playlist devoted to my favorite beat.

i'm thankful it's friday. 

i'm thankful that though it's been raining a lot, it won't rain forever.
