doctor's appointment was fine, she told me not to freak out and that if she had been seriously concerned about the thing causing her to request a follow-up a year ago she would've continued trying to contact me. thankful to have a doctor who laughs at my jokes (the best medicine)(jk the best medicine is xanax which all doctors are in a secret illuminati pact to refuse to prescribe me forever), thankful i was able to get my blood drawn on the spot instead of having to come back to do it again, thankful to hope that despite having made no diet or lifestyle changes in the past year that my numbers might just magically be better (bodies are weird and we don't understand them, it's possible, don't kill my vibe!).
to finish out the sprint at work, i went down a quixotic rabbit hole trying to figure out why a particular input field doesn't autofill properly in safari in certain situations and though despite much experimentation i could not figure out a solution, i at least figured out a very specific definition of what the situations are in which the problem will happen and wrote an entertaining document of my descent into madness to share with my coworkers in the hopes of both entertaining them and seeing if what i found inspires them to think of a solution i couldn't grasp and as an experienced PM said to me "safari is a bastard".
